Vogue goodies!

When I went away on holiday, I purchased a UK Vogue magazine for the first time to read throughout my time abroad and on the plane, etc. I had never bought one before because of how much it is! its crazy! Anyway, I love it, so I signed up for the 10 issue subscription for £19.99 - Well, my mumma treated me :')

The other day I was sitting at home and there was a knock at the door, the postman was handing me a package from Vogue, which I had no clue about! Inside was a little note saying thanks for the subscription and that they had enclosed a gift! Which turned out to be Jemma Kidd Make Up worth over £30.00!!!

I haven't used either of the products yet, but here are some official descriptions of them:

Hi-Shine Silk Touch Lipgloss, 03 Bare £14.00 - Give lips a subtle sheen and fuller look with Jemma Kidd Hi-Shine Silk Touch Lipgloss. A non-sticky, long lasting lipgloss with anti-oxidant vitamin E to protect and moisturise the lips. Enriched with Lipogel the silky gloss hydrates the lips leaving a delicate veil of colour with a slight scent of grapefruit oil, giving stunning results when worn alone or over lipstick for extra shine.

Stay-Put Shadow Liner, 02 Chestnut £18.00 - Jemma Kidd Stay-Put Shadow Liner is an ultra - long lasting cream shadow and complementary liquid liner duo to line, define and accentuate, for instant party glamour eyes. The versatile creamy shadow provides intense payoff with ultra-blendability, whilst added vitamin E and Grapefruit Oil hydrate, protect and condition. Infused with moisturising Glycerin and Acrylates Copolymer for water-resistance, Jemma Kidd’s stay-put, quick-dry liquid liner delivers glide-on, flawless application, for added definition, smoky eyes or a classic liquid line.

The shades that these products are, are not my usual cup of tea, as i would go for a darker lip shade and a black eyeliner, but I will definately give them ago and maybe let you know how they look! :D

Have you tried the Jemma Kidd range?
What's your favourite product?

Wishlist #2

Another week, must mean more wants!
I NEED all of these items in my life, like right now..

Real Techniques Blush brush £9.99 (left) & Stippling brush £11.99 (right) - A few weeks back now, I purchased the Real Techniques Powder brush, which is do not regret in the slightest! It is so soft and applies my powder perfectly and exactly how I want it. The blush brush I am using at the minute is an old, and well-used Virgin Vie brush that is amazing and I love it, but I finally feel like it is tie to part ways and for me to update it. At the moment I apply my foundation with the 'e.l.f powder brush' which is amazingly cheap and applies my foundation OK?, but after seeing alot of youtube videos about how well the Real Techniques Stippling brush applies foundation evenly and smoothly, I definately think I should invest in one to try it out.

White Patent Doc Martens - Again, I am wanting MORE shoes! I've wanted a pair of white patent Docs since I purchased some bright pink patent ones earlly last year, which I have to say are well worth the £80, as they are so comfy and warm. I don't know why I have never really got round to buying some white ones, because I love them so much, but I definately think I will by the end of this year, to keep my feet toasty on those cold mornings I have to get up for college!

American Apparel Disco Pants - Disco Pants...need I say anymore? Last week I bought some dupes from River Island for £30, which turned out to be the worst purchase ever from their, so I returned them pronto. I've neve really been able to understand why they cost the £70 they do, and never been able to justify that price in my head, but after the dupe situation I have decided to save the little amount of money I recieve, to buy some. I have also decided that I will own the black, navy, and grey pair in my lifetime, because I LOVE THE DISCO PANT. But I don't know what colour to go for first? help? :(

The Ragged Priest Lockhart Coat - Who doesn't like The ragged Priest? I personally don't know anyone who doesnt. In past years I have never really owned a winter coat, because I have always lived near school so I didnt really need a warm one, or I have just layered up. This year, however, because it takes almost an hour to get to college on the bus, and its super cold at the bus stop, I have realised I need a decent coat. I would love to have this coat, because its so beautiful, and spikey and ooft. But somehow I don't think my mum will buy me it for £85 and I certainly wont be able to justify it, (even though I want to spend all my oney on disco pants! haha!) so I guess I will have to find a cheaper alternative! :(

Hope you enjoyed this post!

Afternoon! So I've been knuckling down with college work all day today - which I think should be illegal during the summer hols! - and during my break from doing work I was looking through various blogs and saw a 'Most Worn Summer Things TAG' whatalicedidtoday - most worn summer things tag  so I thought I would join in with this!

My most worn items go a little like this:

Catchall my heart?

White Heart Catchall - £6

I was browsing arround Urban Outfitters the other day, and I found myself nosying at all the homewear section, which I don't normally do, as I'm more interested in clothes and shoes! But, i found this cute little Heart Catchall. I've been wanting something like this for a while now to store all of my rings and earrings in, rather than the be laying all around my room in a clutter. I love it and I love how all my jewellery looks in it, I think it looks so cute and tidy, haha! And for £6.00 (£5.40 with my student discount) I think its definately  a bargain!

Just thought I would share this with you!

august beauties.

As I have said before, I am no beauty guru, however I do like to keep my skin and beauty regimes up-to-date try out new products that come onto the scene. This month, I havent bought many new products, I have merely found old products that I have had but never used and discovered that I was crazy not to be using them in the first place!

label.m Protein Spray - I got this 50ml bottle as a freebie when me and my mum went to London Fashion Weekend earlier this year and it just got shoved into my wardrobe with all my other travel size products. I found it when packing for my holiday this year and decided to take it with me and try it out seeing as it didnt weigh much. I used it on my hair throughout the day time to protect my hair from the sun and then when blow-drying and straightning my hair in the evenings. It worked so well and stopped my hair from frizzing and I also think it prevented so much damage that could have been caused to my hair. I'm nearly all out of this sample now, but it is selling for £12.25 for 250ml on the label.m website, so I will definately repurchase this, as it is definately worth the pricetag!

Paco Rabanne Black XS - Christmas 2010 is when I recieved this perfume as a gift from my boyfriend, and recently i have run out of it! :( I love the scent of this, girly, floral and fresh I think it smells of. I don't own any perfumes and this has to be the best smelling out of all of them. I dont think I will be repurchasing this anytime soon, as I want to try out other scents that are on the market. But if you have never tried Black XS, i suggest you do! its lovely!

Liz Earle Skin Repair Moisturiser (Normal/Combination) - Firstly it was my mum that started using Liz Earle products and she would always rave about them. It wasn't until a few months ago when I had a massive break out of spots that she made me start to use this moisturiser. Straight away it worked wonders and calmed all my break outs and caused my skin to go back to normal and over time it has become more smooth and cleaner. During my holiday this year, my face got really badly sunburnt and this cream also helped sooth and moisturise it, causing less damage than if I had just left the burn. I would definately reccomend this product to anyone, as it is one of my daily essentials and I take it everywhere I go if I am staying away from from. I purchase mine from John Lewis stores but you can also order online: http://uk.lizearle.com/

Wen Sweet Almond Mint Cleansing Conditioner - Until I went to Clothes Show Live last year, I had never even head of Wen by Chaz Dean, and to be honest I still havent really, and I dont recall ever seeing this range or a similar one in stores like boots or superdrug. However, this conditioner has to be the best I have ever tried; I only started using this on holiday this year, because of the handy travel size the sample came in. It kept my hair so soft and prevented so many split ends that I am sure I should have come home with! I only use a pea size of conditioner on the ends of my hair, because of how greasy my hair becomes if I use it all over and it does the trick so well! I was looking to purchase another from the official website ( http://www.wenhaircare.com/select.php ), but I found out that they only come in sets which I'm not too interested in. Hopefully if I go to the Clothes Show again this year I will find another great product in the goodybag!

LUSH Tea Tree Toner Water - I love LUSH, it is one of my favourite stores at the moment, and I want to purchase everything they sell! A few months ago I decided I would try out their Tea Tree Toner Water 100g, because my skin was going through a really bad breakout stage and I wanted a product that would help calm it down. Every day I would cleanse my face, then tone with this Tea Tree Water and then go on to moisturise with the Liz Earle Moisturiser above. I think all of the products I used helped to get y skin back to normal, but I love how the Tea Tree Water makes my face feel so fresh and awake. I definately think everyone should have this in their lives! I've recently repurchased this product in the 250g size, because I love it so much!

I hope you enjoyed reading!

Wishlist #1

I seem to always be driving my mum crazy, because apparently I'm always 'want, want, want'.  I can't really disagree, each week there are more things that I 'need' in my life and can't wait to spend all my money on!

This week I am especially craving these items.

Ombred Hair - I know this craze has been going on for aaaaages now, but I've wanted to get my hair like this for a long while now, but the fact I have had no money to pay for my hair to be dyed proffessionally, and that I have never dyed my hair before has been stopping me. I think, however that I will finally pluck up the courage and do it, seeing as its not as daring as a whole head of colour and will eventually fade.

Topshop Studded Camo Jacket - I love camo prints, and I love how they are in fashion at the moment! I think that camo jackets look amazing with plain, basic clothing like a white T and black skinnies as it adds some colour and pattern to the look. I especially love this jacket because of the studded shoulders! The only bad thing is that its £58; am I really prepared to spend that money on a jacket?

Gold Casio A168WG-9EF Watch - I recently saw these watches when I was browsing through American Apparel in Covent Garden! I love them, they are so cute and retro, yet still stylish! I think on Amazon they are selling for around £37, but I will definately be buying one of these soonish as I think it will look amazing paired with my gold coloured spike bracelet from Kukee.

Blue Vintage Nike Mid Suede Blazers - Now, I have a major obssession with shoes. I must own over 60 pairs, majority of them being the trainer/sneaker type. When I saw these on the Nike Store website, i fell in love at first sight! haha. I love how blue and cute and girly they are! and how well they would look with leggings and jeans for a more masculine look or even add a sporty look to a skirt or dress. Summer may be finishing, but I could still rock these in the winter! ;)

MAC Pink Plaid Lipstick £16 - I am not a beauty guru by any means, in fact I hate the way my makeup looks half the time, however I still strangely am always buying new makeup and have such an obssession with it! I love the colour of pink plaid, and it looks so girly on any skin tone. I have wanted it for a while now, but whenever I've been to a MAC store they have always been out of stock which has been a total nightmare. But I still feel as though this lipstick should be mine, so I will still be on the hunt for it!

Boy London Cap - I love, love, love how plain these hats are! Like, I understand that they probably aren't worth the £30 that they are selling for, because of how plain they are, but I suppose you are paying for the brand name. I keep delaying buying one of these hats because of the fact that I may hardly wear it..However! if you truly like something, surely it is money well spent?

I hope you guys enjoyed reading!
