River Island Wishlist

So, imagine this..
Right now I'm snuggled in bed with my moo cow onsie on, watching space jam, drinking horlicks and blogging/reading blogs. Sounds good right?

In one of my previous posts I mentioned I had had a few job interviews, turns out I have managed to get a job at River Island! *dances* - In this post I am not by any means boasting about my job, or the benefits I get through the job. I just thought it would be something cool to blog about.

As I am a full time Alevel student at the moment, I don't work full time, only part time at the weekends. This means that I am allowed to purchase two items of clothing (1 top & 1 bottoms) as my uniform which I will get 75% off of. I have just been browsing the site and have seen so many things that I would love to have as my uniform! These are just a few, which I think are the nicest and I thought by posting them I may recieve some feedback from you lot who may read my posts to help me choose which ones I should go for! :)

Tops:
Blue cosmic print boyfriend t-shirt £15 - £3.75 with discount
Khaki studded shoulder tank top £22 - £5.50 with discount
Grey textured leather look sleeve t-shirt £30 - £7.50 with discount

I don't get shoes for uniform, but I've seen these beauties in store and I may just have to treat myself.. surely I will feel less guilty about getting them if I can use them as uniform? ;)

Grey creeper boots - £38

What do you think? any other suggestions? What ones look the best?

DIY Studded Military Jacket

If you dont remember, I bought a military jacket with the faux leather sleeves (The ones that EVERYONE has) a few months ago. Purely because of the fact that everyone has the same style coat, I decided that I was going to stud mine to add some individuality.

The coat I used was from Primark and it was £25.

I thought this would be a great thing to be blog about and then maybe you could use this to help you stud your own clothes!

I went for a 'The Ragged Priest' style of studded-ness haha! but you can change it up abit if you stud your own clothes :)

What you will need:
coat/jacket/jumper/t-shirt/ETC.
Studs
A knife - BE CAREFUL!

I bought my studs from Studs from studsandpunks
I purchased 100 'UK77 Xtra Tall Gold Studs' for £11.95 plus postage.

When studding my jacket, I pushed the studs through the material until the 'prongs' as I call them were completely peirced through. I then took my knife and with the side of it I forced the prongs flat so that the studs would stay put. I began studding in a cross shape on the shoulders as my outline.

I then took my studs around the edge of the cross shape to create a diamond kind of outline.

Once I had defined the outline, I then filled in the shape with studs in no particular pattern. I did it randomly so it didn't look too perfect which I think looks alot my 'edgy' and 'cool'.

This is what my jacket now looks like! I LOVE IT! :)

I always get comments from random people like 'I love your jacket, where did you get it from?' and it feels so self-pleasing to say 'I did it myself ;)' haha!

Have any of you studded your clothes?
Should I blog more DIY posts?

NOTE TO READERS!
If you have sensitive skin, I wouldn't recommend the Natural Collection liquid concealer, as it broke me out in the worst spots everytime I used the product!

Every other beauty product in this haul I would recommend though, because they are all amaaaaaaze :D

Have you bought or tried anything that I have bought? What did you think of them?

ombre.

In one of my older posts, I mentioned how I have always wanted to ombre my hair, but I havent had the money to go to the salon or have chickened out at the last minute.
Well I finally manned up and got it done!
And... I LOVE it!

I will be honest, I know it does look abit more ginger than it does blonde, but I still like it!
There are odd bits that have taken to the bleach more than others so it looks quite natural with different shades. I may go back soon and add more bleach to lighten it, if I have the money!

I keep trying to find some hair products to use on my hair that will help the blonde stay bright, any ideas on ones I could try that wont break the bank?
Do any of you have ombre hair? What colours? :D

'tis the season to be jolly

I found myself sat here today feeling festive. I couldnt exactly start putting up Christmas Decorations so I thought I would  make a little Christmas wishlist. I havent made one of these since I was about 11, so over half a decade ago! (making myself sound ancient haha!) Here are the things that I would LUUUUURVE in my stocking this year!

Fashion:

American Apparel Disco Pants in Navy. This is purely because I have been obssessing over these for months and still havent justified the price of 74POUNDS in my mind, so I have decided that it may not feel like such a guilty spend if someone else buys them for me ;) mwahahahaha
My boyfriend has decided to treat me to the black ones that I also want as an early Christmas Prezzie, so navy would be my second choice ofc! (:

Beauty:

MAC Blot Powder. I suffer from terribly sensitive skin and MAC products seem to work well with me. Alot of my friends and other bloggers use this product and I have wanted it for quite a while now, but just havent got around to purchasing one! So, as its almost Christmas and my family will keep questioning what I want this year, I thought why not add this to the list as well!

NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in 'Istanbul' & 'San Paulo'. Everyone in the beauty world seems to rave about these lip creams and I want to try them out, so like everything else, WHY NOT add them too the wishlist!?;)

Real Techniques Core Collection Brushes. I have a Real Techniques Powder brush and I love it to bits, it applies my powder so smoothly and effortlessly, so I really really want the whole face range of brushes just to make the application of my base makeup the best it can be really!

Lady Gaga 'Fame' Perfume. If you do not know me personally, I am OBSSESSED with Lady Gaga, she is my idol, inspiration, icon, EVERYTHING. If it wasn't for her I probably wouldnt even be that interested in music, fashion, beauty, etc. So like a proper fangirl I collect almost everything Gaga-related, so naturally this needs to be in my collection. I also love how its a black perfume that sprays clear - pretty neat aye? The smell is also lush, Im rubbish at explaining smells but its yummy :D

Film/Music:

Sherlock Holmes - A Game of Shadows. I am in luuurve with Robert Downey Jr even though he may be a tad old for me, who cares? haha.

JLS - Evolution. Who doesn't like a bit of JLS blasting out your stereo now and again? I am also smitten with Aston Merrygold so yeah..

One Direction - Take Me Home. Now, I dont actually love One Direction like almost every othe girl on the planet, however I do find their songs pretty catchy so I suppose I do like them.

& harry styles is yummy ;)

Hawaii5-0 Season1 & Season2. I LOVE HAWAII5-0, literally when its on TV I am the happiest girl. I don't even find any of the characters amazing looking so I cant use that excuse for my love of it, haha, but I just love the action and hawaii is gorg!!

I think films and music are the perfect stocking fillers, so I usually ask for these from my grandparents/uncles&aunts, so that its easy! :D

What is on your Christmas Wishlist this year?
Are you hoping for any of the same items as me?

Thanks for reading!

je suis désolé

IM SORRY.
I havent made a post on this blog in at least two months.
be right back, while I go hang my head in blogger shame.

My life has been crazy at the minute, what with: university visits, applying for university, keeping up with all the college work, aswell as having a social life. I have also had a lot of job interviews -which  havent been successful, but I am still hoping to hear back from some! (WISH ME LUCK!)

Cutting a long story short - My organisational skills are terrible and I simply havent had time.

BUT!
do not fear!
I have got my neat-freak on, and organised my time and I will not be blogging alot more.
Please do not expect posts everyday because I do need to pass college, but even if i only post once a week at the moment I will get there eventually!

Right Im blabbering on now.
I will post you all soon! ;)

Redrock Wishlist

Spike collar £17.99 / High waist Tie-dye shorts £22
Wild horses shorts £42 / Pur-fect cat crop top £21 / Killer whale shorts £42

I stumbled accross this little shop while scanning the web for vintage style shops, and I am impressed! Their clothes are dead cute! and I want to own it all! I think that their prices are a tad high, especially £42 for a pair of shorts, but all of their stock is handcrafted so I guess your paying for their hardwork.

What 'Redrock' are all about:
"RedRock is a label created by Kiran Lall fashion designer and stylist with a knack for an original diy style and indie inspired fashion approach. All items are hand made in RedRock studios in Northampton, UK. As all pieces are hand made no two items will ever be the same, creating a truly individual style for each and every customer.

RedRock is for girls who like to have fun with fashion, stand out from the crowd by wearing something a little different that can't be found on the High Street. RedRock is not about following trends but looking great wearing WHAT YOU WANT...and still FEELING A MILLION DOLLARS $$
More recently RedRock has be involved with re-working vintage clothing from the eras of 60's, 70's and 80's for something a little extra special and timeless!!

The label has only been running a little over two years but has already secured rails at some of the UK's hottest boutiques, received national press including Sew Hip Magazine, Drapers and Company Magazine, put on their first fashion show in London's infamous Brick Lane. RedRock designs have also been seen on E4 Skin's favourite and been requested by the likes of Paloma Faith, Lauren Pope and Audrey Kitching!!"

I think I will definately purchase some items from the Redrock store at some point, and will continue to check up in new stock that they have in!
Let me know what you think on the store too! I love it!
